Looking for a new addition for our family

I got Duke my Yorkshire terrier cross from his mum at 6 weeks old, he is now 14months old, he is an absolute love but has lots of energy and playfulness in him and when I take him out to friends and families houses he loves playing with their dogs, so I figured it may be time to get him a little brother or sister.
I am looking for a small dog as I don't really have the garden or car for a big dog and love to take my Duke out to the parks in the car.
I am not bothered about age so long as they get along.
Any help anyone could pass along would be much appreciated.
Oh and yes he is fully vaccinated and neutered so a female dog wouldn't be a problem.
I am in Oldham, Manchester .. I do have transport to come out further and Duke has his own seatbelt strapping to be able to come along too.
I am a part time carer so have a lot of time left to devote to my little boy Duke so would have time for another pet, so being left alone a lot isn't a problem.
I can't think of any other useful information but any questions I will gladly answer.
